Maxwell, a three-time GRAMMY Award winner and multi-platinum artist, is looking forward to a busy summer. Maxwell will be performing at Encore Theater on July 27, 29, and 30, as well as his highly anticipated full-length album, "blacksummers'NIGHT", which he is set to release this spring. This will be his sixth album and closes out the trilogy that he started with "BLACKsummers'night". The GRAMMY Award-winning album "BLACKsummers'night", which won the No. 1 GRAMMY Award in 2009, is now his sixth.

Maxwell has transfixed music lovers for more than two decades, releasing music on his own time from the 1996 hit "Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite" to 2016's "blackSUMMERS'night," earning him a third Grammy. The Soul Train Awards presented Maxwell with the Legend Award in 2021.
