bally's
Affordable accommodations: check. Great location: check. Open-air shops: check. Bally’s offers a balance of classic and modern Vegas.
The vibe: Classic, inexpensive, right smack in the middle of everything.
What we love: Don't forget to take a stroll around the casino floor to see all of the classic showgirl costumes from the bygone Jubilee days! These brightly colored works of art are dripping in sparkly rhinestones and are finished off with gravity-defying headpieces that just scream classic Sin City. If you want to be in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, Bally's is an affordable option. In some ways it's a bare-bones kind of place - you know, nothing fancy.
Insider tips: Bally’s hotel shares a parking garage with the adjacent Paris Hotel. The two properties are also connected via a walkway filled with shops so you can easily go back and forth between the two hotels and enjoy the amenities of both.
Good to know: Not all views are created equally. If you splurge on the Jubilee Tower, you should also splurge on the view. The north side of this tower faces The Cromwell and Flamingo, which isn't a bad thing, however over on the south side you'll have awesome views of the Bellagio Fountain and Eiffel Tower. If you're into classic Vegas, you'll come across touches of old elegance - like the curved staircase that leads from the restaurants into Bally's Avenue Shops. Set off by mirrors at the top and water features on each side, stepping down these stairs feels like going back in time. There is valet and self-parking. Rates vary, so click here for details.
